Julie Evans - MBACP

Do you feel stuck? Anxious? Depressed? Unheard?

Each of us can feel this way at any point in our lives and we may find dealing with life's

challenges alone feels overwhelming. When talking to friends or family, however close, isn't enough, talking to a qualified counsellor can help.

I am a professional counsellor with years of experience and I strive to help clients discover their hidden potential, empowering  them to change and grow.

Welcome to Embers Counselling

No matter the reason for seeking therapy, I know from experience, that finding

the right counsellor for you can seem daunting.

I offer a safe, compassionate, confidential and non-judgemental space in which to gently explore and process difficult thoughts, feelings and experiences. I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is at the heart of successful therapy and this is at the core of how I work.

Making Contact

I offer face to face sessions in Kintbury, near Newbury, Berkshire.
Other sessions also offered are online via Zoom or by telephone.

When you first contact me, by email for example, I will offer a free 15 minute telephone call. This helps to make contact and for us to discuss your needs before committing to an initial first session. We will discuss what brings you to counselling now.

We will also discuss availability and how and when we might book in an appointment for your first session.

If you decide to book an initial session after the call I will send you an email with several attachments. These will be a contact form asking for some personal details such as address, date of birth etc. This saves time in our initial session. There will also be a GDPR form, my contract with details of how to make payment and a directions document if you choose to come in person.

Payment is required as soon as this appointment is booked and then required 24hours prior to subsequent appointments
